我记得那天,阳光透过窗户洒进厨房,温暖而明媚。我们俩站在冰箱前,一边翻看着食谱,一边心里都在想:“这不就是厨房里的激战2海外版吗?”因为今天,我们要尝试的是一道外国菜,这对于我这个菜鸟来说简直是挑战。
老婆笑着说:“别担心,我们一起看教程。”但我知道,她其实也有点紧张,因为她最近对烹饪也有了新的兴趣,而我嘛,就更不用说了。我总觉得自己跟那些电视上的厨师一样能干,但每次都是失败。
我们决定做一道意大利面。这听起来简单,但实际操作却很复杂。首先,要把面条煮熟,这个容易;然后,要准备番茄酱,这个就难多了。番茄酱要有精确的比例,不然味道就会失衡。而且,还要用手动搅拌器搅拌好半小时才行。
开始的时候,我还挺认真的。但时间一长,手臂就开始酸痛,而且那个小家伙似乎越搅越小,根本搞不定。我看向老婆,她正专注地盯着火候,看似完全没有注意到我的困境。她终于发现我的状况后,只好过来帮忙。
“快点!”她催促,“时间不多了!”
我们的双手快速地交替着搅拌,那感觉就像是在进行一次高强度的运动比赛。 Sweat dripping down, muscles aching, but we didn't give up. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the sauce was done.
We placed the cooked pasta into the pot with the sauce and tossed it well. The aroma of fresh basil filled our kitchen and we couldn't help but smile at each other. We had done it! Our dish might not have been perfect, but it tasted amazing.
In that moment, I realized that cooking wasn't just about following recipes or techniques; it was about sharing experiences with your loved ones and enjoying every step of the process together. That's why I call this adventure "The Battle in Kitchen 2: Overseas Edition" - because no matter how challenging things got in there, we always had each other to rely on.
