2020年，珠海国际设计周将在12月携手全球新设计、新产品亮相珠海。这次盛会不仅是对时尚的一种诠释，更是一次情感的共鸣。在9月26日，2020珠海国际设计周暨北京国际设计周珠海站推介会在北京成功举办，这也是首次在北京举行推介会。中国工业设计协会副会长陈冬亮、清华大学美术学院教授柳冠中、中央美术学院城市设计学院院长王中等50余位业内大咖及承办方华发集团代表出席了此次推介会。

2020珠海国际设计周以“美好城市与大健康”为主题，将于12月初在珠海拉开帷幕。活动将聚焦健康与发展，探讨对可持续和未来生活的思考，并呈现更多湾区元素，以“设计+科技”助力美好城市建设与未来大健康生活。

通过design week活动，希望能更好地聚焦城市产业发展新动能，探索推动城市产业创新平台的建设，促进湾区现代服务业和先进制造业的深度融合，实现产业升级，助推实体经济发展。此外，由珠海国际design week、beijing international design week共同主办的2020“pearl river delta design award – bay area design power”奖项评选工作已正式启动，将于2020年12月同期举办颁奖典礼。
